Ok, I know I said I'd post pictures from Andrew's birthday and yes, I'll get to that eventually. It's been so crazy at my house and dealing with having my computer in storage, I just haven't done it yet! AHH! I am thankful my husband is letting me use his laptop though!
Funny thing happened today and I thought I'd share. Austin is a VERY timid person and hates to try anything that threatens his balance or makes him feel there's a chance he may fall. He just recently mastered climbing the stairs (at 5 years old mind you!) both up and down and is still not comfortable going down slides without some assistance. Austin is just not the kid to shock me with his antics, he's very predictable.
That being said, when I walked into the living room to see my 6 year old son sitting on top of the arm of the couch-I was shocked! After I picked my chin up off the floor, I asked him what in the world he was doing up there! He just gave me this big grin and looked so proud of himself. How do you tell your child not to climb the furniture?!?! It's physical therapy for goodness sakes! LOL

Love it!
That is so funny! Isn't it great how we as parents see everything as a therapy opportunity! Way to go Austin!
I changed my blog up by using this lady's help.

She walks you through how to do it. Good Luck!
Hey yeah, that's like playing in their food, that's OT right?? Too cute!
Go Austin! How could you have him get down from the furniture after that!!
