My goodness my son has the largest stubborn streak ever.
Tena, I think he's right up there with Avery! After a 'small' accident after waking up this morning, he thrilled me by staying dry while I went grocery shopping for over an hour! I thought for sure he'd go while we were out. So, my stubborn little man has sat on the potty ever since. And he's STILL holding it. It's been 3 hours...can we have success this round?

Hang in girl, you can do it! It's hard when it's your first time PTing - be as stubborn as they are, agreed!!
From my experience working at the daycare, after the first initial week or so of ritually taking them to the potty every hour and having them sit (we were training 4 at the time) we decided to back off and let them tell us when they were ready. Now, I don't know how it was for them at home, but they practically trained themselves. One day it just "clicked" with each of them--months down the road. We did use a reward system. A sticker for trying, an M&M for succeeding, 5 M&M's for pooping.
Anyhoo, that's my two cents.
